Kylie has a lifelong passion for working with children of neurodiverse backgrounds. Even before her daughter, Evelyn was diagnosed with Autism, Kylie worked at the Juvenile Justice Intensive Programs unit in Blacktown, NSW where many of the participants displayed neurodiverse behaviours. Kylie understands the challenges of raising an Autistic child who is often unable to shine in social settings. She is an experienced disability support practitioner who has extensive experience with complex needs and is committed to helping every child find their voice and place in this world.
Qualifications:
Cert 4 in Community Nursing, Cert 3 Teacher Aide, Miami State High School Special education program teacher aide, Disability support worker, Disability Co-ordinator of Supports, specialising in Autism, Qld Blue card holder, NSW Working with children.
